'The Enormous Turnip' is a playful and engaging show for the youngest of theatre goers. The show is filled with original music, puppetry and lights. We hope you can join us for this enchanting experience for ages 0-24 months.
We wanted to create a stimulating production for little ones but something that is still enjoyable for the whole family. So come and see how big this turnip will grow!
We want to send a big thank you to everyone that attended 'The Enormous Turnip' Workshop series. And also a big thank you to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre for hosting us. We sold out every workshop and had a brilliant time.
This series was aimed for ages 0-2 years old. We explored the famous tale 'The Enormous Turnip' with lights, puppetry, live and recorded music. Now we will be starting to put a production together aimed for ages 0-2 but a performance that still can be enjoyed by the whole family. Thank you all again and look out for 'The Enormous Turnip' show later this year.
We just want to say a huge thank you to the Albany Theatre and to the brilliant kids that came and joined us a couple weeks ago. We hope you all had as much fun as we did. Let us know your thoughts!
We are so excited about our upcoming performances at the Albany in Deptford. We met some brilliant kids at the market on Douglas Way yesterday handing out some flyers and balloons. We hope to see you all there on Oct 1st and there might be still a chance to grab an orange balloon!
All of us at Three Feathers want to say a big thank you to our amazing audience for the Wandsworth Arts Fringe this May. We had an amazing time and we hope you all did too. We know our friend Frog definitely had a blast!
If you missed the show, no worries! We have some more performance dates of 'Tortoise and Rabbit' coming soon.
Three Feathers Theatre Company Presents
Tortoise and Rabbit
‘A very endearing portrayal of the famous story’
‘Don’t miss the show’
Wandsworth Arts Fringe it’s race day! Don’t miss it! Who will win?! Tortoise or Rabbit? Three Feathers is a new and exciting theatre company, bringing you a fresh twist on a classic tale in an original show inspired by children. After a brilliant run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016, Three Feathers brings this interactive, multi-sensory retelling of the timeless classic, with original music, puppetry, bubbles and more to Wandsworth for one date only. This delightful adaptation was inspired by working closely with SEN (special educational needs) children - particularly on the autistic spectrum. The enthusiasm and creativity of these brilliant kids brought a unique and playful interpretation to the tale producing a charming story for all ages to enjoy.
Three Feathers’ unique approach takes a traditional story, pulls it apart in fun workshops with groups of kids, then bounces the fresh ideas into a newly devised show, performed by grown-ups. Three Feathers was founded by American actress Natalie Imlay in 2014, building shows based on the ways that real children interpret and relate to stories. Natalie and associate director Emily Hodgson have joined forces to create a unique new theatre company to inspire and represent a child’s creativity and playful nature.
